Fenix is a Chinese manufacturer of LED flashlights, specializing in very efficient AA, AAA, and CR123A pocket-sized lights with high lumen outputs. E Series

E01 - 1xAAA single mode twisty with a 5mm Nichia GS LED and output of 10 lumens. Comes in a number of colors. Has been sold in titanium and stainless steel versions too. Introduced in April 2008. web page Reviews: Light Reviews

E05 - 1xAAA single mode twisty with a Cree XP-E R2 LED and output of 27 lumens. A little shorter than the E01. Initial run had a Cree XP-G R4 LED for 30 lumens max, later runs have a XP-E R2. Announced in October 2010. Blue and purple versions introduced in August 2011. Review: HKJ

E11 - 1xAA 2-mode forward clicky with maximum output of 105 ANSI lumens (72m throw) and Low of 32 lumens. Uses a TIR lens designed for floody output. Tighten head for High, loosen for Low. Introduced in August 2011. A silver version was introduced in April 2012 and otuput was updated to 115 lumens (74m throw) and Low of 38 lumens.

E15 - 1xCR123A 3-mode twisty with Cree XP-E LED. Modes are 75, 10, and 140 lumens. Uses a floody TIR lens. Introduced in July 2011.

E21 - 2xAA 2-mode adjustable focus light. Available in a 135-lumen neutral white Q4 or 48- or 150-lumen R2. Modes selected by turning bezel. Announced in August 2010.

E25 2xAA 3-mode light with side switch. With a Cree XP-E LED, output is 27, 90, or 187 lumens (156m throw). Introduced in August 2012.

E35 - 2xCR123A or 1x18650 3-mode light with side switch. With a Cree XP-E LED, output is 5, 50, or 225 lumens (176m throw). Introduced in August 2012.

E40 - 4xAA 3-mode light dual tail switches. With Cree XP-E LED, output is 220 (260m throw), 105, or 34 lumens. Introduced in July 2012.

E50 - 2xCR123A or 1x18650 (2x18650 with extension tube) 4-mode light with side clicky near head. With a neutral white Cree XM-L T6 LED the output levels are 23, 74, 236, and 780 lumens (260m throw). Introduced in October 2012.

LD Series

LD01 - 1xAAA 3-mode twisty. Cree 7090 XR-E Q5 LED. Modes are 27, 10, and 80 lumens. Later upgraded to XP-E R2 with output of 28, 9, and 85 lumens. Updated version of L1D. Introduced in October 2008. LD10 - 1xAA 6-mode reverse clicky. Output of the Cree XP-G R5 version (December 2010) is 3, 13, 45, 100 ANSI lumens. Previous versions were not rated using the ANSI standard. Output of the Cree XP-G R4 LED is 9, 50, 105, and 132 lumens. The earlier XR-E Q5 LED version has output of 9, 47, 94, and 120 lumens. Lower modes are lost (everything is turbo) when using a lithium-ion battery. Successor to L1D features better tailcap knurling, improved tailcap design with better laynard ring, easier to turn head which is also an anti-roll hexagon shape, lower low, medium, and high, smoother tailcap switch. Longer runtime on low, medium, and high. The early Q5 LD10 had parts interchangeable with the LxD series. Later upgraded with body knurling, trapezoidal threads (not compatible with earlier LD10 or L1D), and a pocket clip (later Q5's were sometimes called the LD10+). LD12 - 1xAA 6-mode forward clicky with side switch for mode selection. Has a Cree XP-G R5 for modes of 3, 27, 60, and 115 lumens as well as Strobe (hold for 1 second) and SOS (hold for 3 seconds). Released in February 2012. A special edition with Cree XP-G S2 has maximum output of 120 lumens. In March, 2013, the LED was upgraded to the XP-G2 R5 with output levels of 3, 30, 65, and 125 lumens.

LD15 - 1xAA 2-mode twisty. Compact, mostly knurled light with Cree XP-G R4 with output of 117 or 8 lumens and up to 39 hours of battery life. Introduced in June 2010. web page Cataract's review on CPF

LD20 - 2xAA version of the LD10 with brighter modes due to two batteries. Output of the Cree XP-G R5 version (December 2010) is 5, 30, 81, 180 ANSI lumens. Previous versions were not rated using the ANSI standard. Output of the Cree XP-G R4 R4 version (introduced in March 2010) is 9, 50, 105, and 205 OTF lumens. Output of the earlier Cree XR-E Q5 version is 9, 47, 94, or 180 lumens. LD22 - 2xAA 6-mode forward clicky with side switch for mode selection. Has a Cree XP-G R5 for modes of 3, 22, 92, and 190 lumens as well as Strobe (hold for 1 second) and SOS (hold for 3 seconds). Introduced in February 2012. A special edition with Cree XP-G S2 has maximum output of 200 lumens. In March, 2013, the LED was upgraded to the XP-G2 R5 with output levels of 3, 50, 105, and 215 lumens.

LD41 4xAA 6-mode light with dual tail clicky and Cree XM-L U2. Modes are 5, 80, 190, and 520 lumens (200m throw) with SOS and Strobe. Introduced in June 2012. In December 2013 Fenix released a new XM-L2 U2 version with output levels 10, 85, 240, and 680 lumens. Aside from the increase in brightness and throw the new LD41 also has body with improved grip and cooling fins on the head.

PD Series

PD22 - 1xCR123A 6-mode forward clicky with side switch for mode selection. Has a Cree XP-G R5 for modes of 8, 46, 95, and 190 lumens (101m throw) as well as Strobe (hold for 1 second) and SOS (hold for 3 seconds). Introduced in March 2012. A special editions with a Cree XP-G S2 bin has maximum output of 200 lumens.

PD32 - 2xCR123A/18650 6-mode forward clicky with side switch for mode selection. Has a Cree XP-G R5 for modes of 9, 70, 130, and 315 lumens as well as Strobe (hold for 1 second) and SOS (hold for 3 seconds). Introduced in December 2011. A special editions with a Cree XP-G S2 bin has maximum output of 330 lumens. Introduced in December 2012, the "ultimate edition" PD32UE has a neutral Cree XM-L T6 LED for 480 lumens (and up to 3 minutes of burst output at 740 lumens) and a Low of 9 lumens. In March, 2013, the LED was upgraded to the XP-G2 R5 with output levels of 5, 70, 135, and 340 lumens.

PD35 - 2xCR123A/1x18650 6-mode forward clicky with side switch for mode selection. Has a Cree XM-L2 U2 LED for modes of 10, 45, 170, 450, or 850 lumens as well as Strobe. Introduced in June 2013.

RC Series

RC15 6-mode light with a Cree XM-L U2 LED. Modes are 9, 130, 350, and 860 lumens (284m throw) plus Strobe and SOS. Modes and power are selected by dual switches at the head. This light is powered by a custom 18650 battery and has a charging port.

RC40 7-mode light with 4 Cree XM-L U2 LEDs. Modes are 35, 150, 550, 1500, and 3500 lumens (710m throw) as well as Strobe and SOS controlled by dual switches near the head. This light is powered by a battery pack with a charging port.

TK Series

TK11 - 2xCR123A but can accept 18650 with two modes selected by turning bezel. Cree XP-G R5 output is 60 or 285 lumens (48 or 258 ANSI lumens, 188m throw). An XR-E R2 version was released in December 2008 with a smooth reflector which was later replaced with an orange peel reflector in new stock. Output is 64 or 240 lumens. TK12 (2013 version) - 2xCR123A/18650 with a body and head similar to the TK11. The light has three brightness levels selected by turning the light on and then soft-pressing the electronic switch to change level. It has an XP-G2 R5 and the output is 400, 130, and 15 lumens (230m throw). The electronic switch allows momentary on and the light always comes on on high. The new TK12 appears to be development of the TK11 and is not to be confused with the previous TK12 models released by Fenix in 2009 and 2010.

TK15 - 2xCR123A 4-mode forward clicky with Cree XP-G R5 and a deep reflector for better throw. Modes are selected with side switch near bezel. Output levels are 5, 47, 143, or 337 lumens. Select strobe by holding down side switch. Introduced in October 2010. A special editions with a Cree XP-G S2 bin has maximum output of 400 lumens - introduced in September 2012. Review: Selfbuilt

TK22 - 2xCR123A/1x18650 4-mode forward clicky with Cree XM-L2 U2 and a deep reflector for better throw. Modes are selected with a side switch near bezel. Modes are 7, 85, 265, and 680 lumens (270m throw) plus SOS and Strobe. With a XM-L U2, the output levels are 7, 75, 250, and 650 ANSI lumens (235m throw) plus strobe. Remembers last mode it was in. Introduced in October 2012.

TK35 - 4xCR123A/2x18650 (side-by-side) 6-mode dual tail clicky with Cree XM-L LED and maximum output of 820 ANSI lumens and 333m throw. Modes are 12, 109, 346, and 820 lumens with 820-lumen strobe and 109-lumen SOS. Introduced in January 2011. Special edition with Cree XM-L U2 has maximum output of 860 lumens. Review: Selfbuilt

TK41 - 8xAA 8-mode Cree XM-L light with last-mode memory. Output modes are 10, 108, 335, and 800 ANSI lumens (475m throw). There are dual side switches, one for power and one to switch modes. Released in April 2011. Special edition with Cree XM-L U2 has maximum output of 860 lumens. Review: HKJ

TK45 - 8xAA with 3 individual Cree XP-G R5 heads operating together for up to 760 lumens. 4 brightness levels and 3 flashing modes. Low mode of 8 lumens for 232 hours. Has two side-mounted switches for power and modes. web page Review: Selfbuilt

TK50 - 2xD 7-mode light with Cree XP-G R5 and two side clickies for power and modes. Modes are 4, 49, 120, and 255 FL-1 lumens plus 3 flashing modes. Introduced in January 2011.

TK60 - 4xD 6-mode light with Cree XM-L and two side clickies near the head for power and modes. Modes are 10, 111, 350, and 800 ANSI lumens plus strobe and SOS. Introduced in June 2011. Review: erns

TK75 - 4x18650 6-mode light with three Cree XM-L2's and two side clickies near the head for power and modes. The modes are 25, 450, 1200, and 2900 lumens (690m throw) plus Strobe and SOS. With 3 Cree XM-L LEDs, the modes are 18, 400, 1100, and 2600 lumens (606m throw). Additional body extensions available to add 18650's in multiples of 4 (for additional runtime, not brightness). Can also run on only 2 18650's. Announced in November 2012.

L0P - 1xAAA 1-mode twisty with Luxeon I (R bin). The L0P-SE was a 3-mode twisty. Later models may have included a Luxeon III. Reviews: Flashlight Reviews

L1D - 1xAA 6-mode light. With head tightened the modes are Turbo and Strobe. With head loosened a quarter turn, the modes are low, medium, high, and SOS. Several different versions were introduced over time including the original with a Luxeon Rebel 80 LED with a maximum brightness of 90 lumens. The L1D CE featured a Cree 7090 XR-E P4 LED with maximum brightness of 90 lumens. The final version was the L1D Premium Q5 with 120 lumens of brightness. web page See comparison). Replaced by LD10.

LD03 - 1xAAA 3-mode reverse clicky pen light. Brightness levels are 4, 22, and 71 lumens. To be released in April 2011.

LD05 - 2xAAA 3-mode reverse clicky pen light. Cree XP-E R2 LED. Brightness levels are 4, 32, and 100 lumens. Introduced in November 2009. web page

LD25 - 2xAA 3-mode neutral white Cree XP-G R4 with forward clicky and momentary on (other two modes are hidden). Has a grippy plastic grip. Brightness is 180 lumens, 45 lumens, and SOS. Seems to be designed to replace the TK20. Announced in August 2010. Discontinued in 2012.

P Series

P1 - 1xCR123A 1-mode twisty. The first Fenix CR123A light. Had a Luxeon III LED with 55 lumens output. The P1-CE (Cree edition) used a Cree XR-E with 90 lumens output. Replaced by P1D. web page Review: Flashlight Reviews

P1D - 1xCR123A 5-mode twisty. Head and Body only (no separate tail). With Cree 7090 XR-E LED (Q5) output levels are 95, 180, and 16 lumens with strobe and SOS. Originally came with Luxeon III. Replaced by PD10. web page Review: Flashlight Reviews

P2D - 1xCR123A 6-mode light in the LxD family. Requires a separate tail piece due to the larger diameter of the body for the CR123A, but the head is the same. P3D - 2xCR123A 6-mode light in the LxD family, but with a different head due to the higher voltage of 2 CR123 batteries. A single li-ion cell will not work due to the lower voltage and lack of a boost circuit in the flashlight. Also the tube 16.8 mm, so 17 and 18 mm li-ions would not fit. Two li-ion 16340's willl work despite the higher voltage. Output varies depending on version with the original P3D with a Luxeon Rebel 80 LED yielding 9, 40, 90, and 160 lumens. The P3D Premium 100 with a Rebel 100 yields 11, 50, 112, and 200 lumens. The P3D CE with a Cree 7090 XR-E P4 LED yields 9, 40, 90, and 160 lumens. The P3D Premium Q5 yields 12, 53, 120, and 215 lumens. Replaced by PD30. web page

PD10 - 1xCR123A 3-mode twisty. Cree XP-E R2 LED with 3 brightness levels: 6, 95, and 190 lumens. PD20 - 1xCR123A 6-mode reverse clicky. Part of the LDxx family. Output is similar to LD20. Cree XR-E Q5 output is 9, 47, 94, or 180 lumens. Later upgraded to XP-E R2 LED with a more cylindrical shape with body knurling, trapezoidal threads (not compatible with earlier versions), a pocket clip, and now the body and tail cap are one piece. PD30 - 2xCR123A 6-mode light with Cree XP-G R5 LED. Successor to P3D. Better tailcap knurling, improved tailcap design with better lanyard ring, easier to turn head which is also an anti-roll hexagon shape, lower low, medium, and high, smoother tailcap switch. Longer runtime on low, medium, and high. The latest update with an XP-G R5 has an ouput of 10, 67, 124, and 257 ANSI lumens and was introduced in November 2010. The previous version with an XP-G R4 LED was introduced in December 2009 and has an output of 11, 75, 140, and 265 lumens. The XR-E R2 LED version has an output of 10, 70, 125, and 235 lumens (sometimes called a PD30+) and was introduced in September 2009. Output of the original XR-E Q5 is 9, 70, 117 or 220 lumens. The Q5 edition has triangular knurling (not compatible with R2, R4 or R5 versions), less knurling on the body, and lacks a pocket clip. PD31 - 2xCR123A/18650 6-mode light with Cree XP-G R5 LED. This is a special edition of the PD30 that takes 18650 batteries, introduced in December 2010. ANSI Lumen output is 2, 67, 124, and 304 lumens (140m throw) plus SOS and Strobe.

T Series

T1 - 2xCR123A 2-mode forward clicky light. With heavy duty construction and fewer modes, this was Fenix's first attempt at a "tactical" light. Features a Cree 7090 XR-E Q5 LED and output of 60 or 225 lumens selected by turning the bezel. Introduced in December 2007. Replaced by TK10. Reviews: CPFReviews, CPForums, Light Reviews

TK Series

TK10 - 2xCR123A 2-mode Cree XR-E Q5 light. Two modes available by turning bezel: 60 or 225 lumens. Larger head designed for greater throw. An "improved" version of the T1 with a removable grip ring, aluminum bezel, and removable clip. Performance is not changed. Introduced in July 2008. Reviews: Light Reviews

TK12 - 2xCR123A with Cree XP-G R5 LED. 3 modes, each with two brightness levels: Outdoor is 65 or 280 lumens (245 ANSI lumens, 179m throw); Camping is 11 or 120 lumens; Hunting is strobe or 280 lumens. Remembers last mode. Originally featured a Cree XR-E Q5 LED with Outdoor mode of 50 or 225 lumens; Camping 5 or 90 lumens; Hunting strobe or 225 lumens. Introduced in July 2009, it was upgraded to XR-E R2 in December 2009 and to XP-G R5 in March 2010. The Q5 and R2 versions had an orange peel reflector while the R5 was initially available either with OP or SMO reflectors and later only with a smooth reflector. TK21 - 2xCR123A/1x18650 4-mode forward clicky with Cree XM-L U2 and a deep reflector for better throw. Modes are selected with a side switch near bezel. TK30 - 2xCR123A 3 modes, each with two brightness levels: Searching is 100 or 370 lumens; Camping is 12 or 175 lumens; Hunting is strobe or 370 lumens. The extension tube allows 4xCR123 or 2x18650 batteries with increased output: Searching is 100 or 630 lumens; Camping is 12 or 175 lumens; Hunting is strobe or 630 lumens. Cree MC-E multi-chip LED. TK40 - 8xAA 8-mode Cree MC-E light with last-mode memory. Fenix's first multidie LED flashlight, has a Cree MC-E in a textured reflector powered by 8 AA batteries but can use 4 in an emergency. Output modes are 13, 93, 277, and 630 lumens. Double-click the tail switch at any output level to cycle through strobe, slow flash, SOS, fast flash. Forward clicky.
