Pila was established in 1990 in Hong Kong by Permalight (Asia) Co., Ltd,. The first generation of Pila lights were identical to the Wolf-Eyes brand, but a design revision in 2006 distinguished Pila from all other brands. They are Swiss designed and engineered, and are manufactured in China.

Lights

Pila currently offers the Pila GL2, GL3 and GL4.

Batteries and Chargers

Pila also makes lithium-ion batteries and a charger for use in its flashlights. Although they say the Pila charger is only for Pila batteries, it will work with other lithium-ion batteries. Here are how Pila sizes relate to standard sizes:

18650 = 168A / 600P
17670 = 168S / 600S
18500 = 150A / 300P
17500 = 150S / 300S
