Sunwayman is based in China, formerly known as Sunwayled. They previously manufactured lights for other companies, but now have their own line of lights.

Sunwayman lights use ANSI/NEMA FL-1 ratings for their lumens (but some of their advertised lumen values don't make much sense). Most of their lights are dark gray or black anodizing. But in July 2011, they posted pictures of anniversary editions with a red control ring along with gold, gunmetal, and tan versions of some of their lights. The tan version is a limited edition of 100 lights.
